3×3 Card Box

- April 17, 2008 | February 21, 2020 - elainescreations

When I saw the cover of this month’s Stampin’ Success, I knew I had to make the creation pictured there! I love the Ginger Blossoms dsp and the Embrace Life set. So I changed it a little and came up with this.
I started with 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ piece of groovy guava cardstock to create the box. I scored at 1, 4 1/4″, and 5 1/4″ lengthwise and 1″ widthwise. Before assembling the box I used the 1″ circle punch to punch out half a circle on either side of the box. I embellished the box with a strip of dsp from Ginger Blossoms and watercolored the large flower from Embrace life and then stamped the large flower with river rock on river rock cardstock to create the leaves behind the flower.
